A Delightful Kick-Off

Chai tea, native Kenyan beats, laughter, pineapple, and wood statues of wild beasts. If you stumbled into the Littleton-based coffee house, Solid Grounds, you might have mistaken it for a scene in Kenya, despite there being no African people present. Today Love for Kenya had it's official non-profit status party with 30 or so friends in attendance who have been a part of the ministry and journeyed with us toward the founding of this organization. Here were some highlights from today's event.

There was a great turn out of friends from Centennial and friends of Kenya who have been a part of the journey toward the establishment of Love for Kenya. One guest mentioned, "This is a great reunion!"

Kenyan decorations and food transformed this coffee house into an African Chama (Party)!
