Love For Kenya's Partner with Kibera Slums

Greetings from Pastor Timothy in Kibera

my mission is to provide the message of God’s love and hope to the people of Kibera. The children who live on the streets need a place to eat, learn and sleep,

Jambo! I'm Timothy Mulehi, the pastor of Calvary Evangelistic Church and School in the Kibera area of Nairobi. Kibera is the largest slum in Africa and houses more than one million people in roughly one square mile. In the midst of Kibera’s bleak and discouraging backdrop, my mission is to provide the message of God’s love and hope to the people of Kibera. The children who live on the streets need a place to eat, learn and sleep, and I oversee the school and encourage others to share their love with Kibera. Love for Kenya financially supported the construction of new dorms. Last December, partners of Love for Kenya visited Kibera and generously donated toward a memorable Christmas celebration.

Everything is going on well here in Kibera, Kenya. All of your greetings, encouragements and blessings are warmly received. The children are doing well and are in schools studying. In December, we had a great time with a successful party of over 600 people! Thanks be to God, who through you, your prayers and your financial support, made all the difference for our celebration. (See pictures of the celebration below). We pray that our God and the father of our Lord Jesus Christ bless you more with good health and resources for his work.

We love you and we are praying for you.

Blessings.

Timothy Mulehi
